5th April,
Uncertainty is so fragile. One moment you think you own this world and the next moment is full of doubt. I know we all are going through some rough patch and thinking about the future is the obvious thing to do. Speaking about thinking, we now have a lot of time to do that ( as lock down is been practiced all around the world). But this thinking is now turning into overthinking for many of us. We are doubting our relationships, our careers!

‘Do they miss me the same way I am missing them right now?’
‘Do we share the same bond we used to share back then?’ ‘Is there any future?’ ‘& if its there, what am I going to do?
‘Do I still hold that Job?’ and many more…..
Too many questions right?
I am no expert! But uncertainty does make you feel anxious. It is not easy to deal with uncertainty. It has never been that easy. But Hey, all these feelings are valid. Love, Hate, Sympathy, Respect, Aggression, Doubt, Frustration ( you know this list is going to be a big one! 😅) All these feelings are valid until they are expressed right!
People have different response towards uncertainty. Some freak out while some don’t bother much. But mind you, ‘people are different not difficult’. These responses are merely based on one’s choices and beliefs.

There are so many things that are uncertain to us but we still keep the hope. We ‘hope’ that one day these things will be certain to us.
Take for instance when King Ravan abducted Devi Sita, Lord Ram never knew how he is going to save her. Will he be able to see his love again? But he didn’t lose hope. He did everything that was possible for him in accordance with honesty towards his karma. He had full faith in his love for Sita that he would make it to her. One victory lead to another and he did saved Devi Sita by defeating King Ravan (long story short)

My point is we should trust the process and should not merely give up on things, just by thinking we are not capable of doing it & not trying.

Ace Hood – “Even when it’s tough you keep on pushing that’s the concept / Keep your head up, keep the faith and Trust the process.”
Don’t get me wrong, it is important that your goals are focused towards a specific result. Ultimately, that is what we are all after. However, if you focus solely on the end result, you are setting yourself up for failure. When it comes down to actually getting things done, there’s a much better way to go about it. Also your goals must be process oriented.
There is beauty in not knowing what universe have kept for us. Uncertainty also comes up with new opportunities in life. The possibility that anything can happen is more but what if that ‘anything’ is what you wanted/waited for your entire life.
Another example of uncertainty and how it is been leaded by the characters In the book The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks’ which is also a movie now,
(Spoiler alert 👉)
A love story where a person is reading the story from his notebook, and implies to the audience that he is reading to his wife, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and does not recognize him. Throughout the story he explains he is also ill, battling a third cancer, and suffering heart disease, kidney failure, and severe arthritis in his hands.
He resumes reading the story and describing their life together: her career as a noted painter, their children, growing old together, and finally the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. He had changed the names in the story to protect her, but he is Noah and she is Allie.
In the last scene, Noah goes to see Allie and finds her in bed asleep. She wakes up, recognizes him as Noah, and tells him that she loves him. They kiss and fall asleep next to each other, believing their love will take them away together.

Noah knew it is highly uncertain for Allie to recognize him again but he never lose hope. He kept reading to her. Believing That “Science only goes so far and then comes God” And in the end she did recognize him.
TRUST THE WAIT.
Embrace the Uncertainty.
Enjoy the beauty of becoming.
